Google Pixel XL - Preorder /order/shipping thread

Well, no movement on the Verizon side. Still showing a ship date of 12/02, ordered 10/21. Looks like Google is taking care of business. Doesn't even look like there is much going on in the Verizon forums either. This thread isn't helping, and neither is checking the status 6 times a day....

Well I ordered 10/18 with expected ship of 11/11 no movement on my side. Either o have a 128gb xl on order if anything changes I will let you know

Phone was delivered. My boss let me run home real quick since it is raining out to make sure it was ok. I connected it to the charger so it will be ready for me when I get home

So what you're trying to tell me is expect a delay Verizon most likely fed me a crock of BS on this ship date when the rep told me that mine will ship by that date because I was trading in a phone for the $300 credit.

And if Verizon BSed me about what that rep said which I do have it in writing it's not going to be pretty.....

Status changed to Shipped late yesterday afternoon. According to the email from the Fed Ex Delivery Manager that was sent at 1:05 this morning (PST) my Pixel XL is in transit and I can expect delivery between 12:05 and 3:45 this afternoon. Yippee!!!

She's here! Delivery received at 2:20 PM PST.

My Silver 128 XL from Google arrived in my city an hour ago. I called to see if I could pick it up and FedEx said it is not in a position that I could pick it up tonight. I guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow...

Shipping to CO and then family is shipping to APO.
Hopefully I'll get it within the next two weeks.

Kinda, but they probably have no idea when it's going to ship. When I called on 10/29 after my expected ship date changed to "check back later", the rep told me 12/2, but I honestly think he just told me that so I would be happy when it arrived early. I mean, that was the expected date for new orders at the time, but my order had already been in for 2 weeks.

I received my 128GB Quite Black XL yesterday. All I can say is WOW!!!. Now granted I am coming from an SGS3 so any upgrade would be a wow but, the Pixel XL is an amazing phone

Speaking of FedEx, in anticipation of this day, I ordered the clear case from the Google Store a week ago today, when my XL order changed from preordered to pending. The initial shipping information said it would be delivered yesterday. Shipping information since then revealed that it was being sent by the worst possible route: the truly awful FedEx SmartPost. It's now not scheduled to arrive until Saturday. Nine days for a lousy case.

Google store pre-order of a Silver XL 128GB on Oct. 14th with delivery date of November 23rd-25th went from pre-order to pending Wednesday or Thursday. not sure when as I was traveling.

Shipped (Label Created). ETD Wednesday. Tracking appears to be working. I did not choose the expedited shipping option.

On Wednesday it was on the truck at 5:30am CT. It was delivered at 5pm CT. Spent a few hours before bed getting signed in and setup and most apps going.

I'll spend the day getting to know the phone but so far I'm blown away. It's fantastic, fast, and seems to get better wifi and cell signal than my previous Moto X (2014).

The saga is finally over for me.

Thanks everyone for participating in the thread it helped me (and the rest of the community) get an idea of when my phone was coming and what the movement trends were. Even though I didn't order the phone until the 14th I tried to get it on the 5th but it went to out of stock and I was on the waiting list until I got the email on the 14th and from what I read I barely got it ordered before it was out of stock again. But I credit this thread in helping me watch for stocking issues as well and actually getting it ordered in the pre-order window and still qualifying for the Daydream code.

Good luck everyone still waiting. It should progressively get faster from here.
