Google Pixel XL - Preorder /order/shipping thread

Since I have note 7, only option they gave me is keep buying new phone and return before 30 days until you get pixel xl :( they make it sound like it's generous of them, I was like anyone can do this loaner bs
Apparently the CEO of vzw failed customer service 101 back in his McDonald's days...

So I got a call from FedEx letting me know they need my signature. This is a problem since I'm in DC right now foe work. I may be able to catch them tomorrow but if not I'll have to wait till Friday.

My preference is the black one. I'm sending back silver ones in preparation for the black.

My QB 128 XL came in today. I'm glad I exchanged the silver ones. It looks much better in my opinion. Gear S3 Classic came in today too. So I'm all teched out for a while :)

Has anyone successfully ordered through Verizon? That's what I did and was wondering your results or ongoing struggles

I ordered on 10/20 originally and was told it would ship out 11/18. Well that didn't happen. Ship date according to the site is now 12/26. I'm hoping it ships out sooner or I may order from the play store.

Ordered black XL 128gb on 10/17, supposed to ship 10/28, delayed until 12/2. Haven't seen anyone get a Verizon order since around the release date

Ordered mine on 10/21 directly from Google , ( Pixel XL) been on the waiting list for a week, with a delivery date of November 21st-22nd, then change to pending about November 8th, then to processing November 10th and shipped November 11th. Got the phone November 12th, 10 days prior to the original delivery date. I'm impress.

Not many successfully it seems. My order was for 10/20, original shipping date 11/18, never happened and rescheduled for 12/26-C'mon!! I'm going to cancel it and buy directly from Google Store.

I'm a bit nervous that my delivery is scheduled for Black Friday and the FedEx guy will most likely just throw it on my doorstep. I live in a highly congested area with theft of package issues in the past.

Verizon's lackadaisical attitude on this is really annoying. They act as if they have know clue on any of this. Why are they not leaning on Google to provide feedback.
