Google play download error.

Hi.

Anyone having this issue with Google play?

I have two updates for apps every time I try to update it says "update for (name of app) could not be downloaded due to an error (927)"

Any idea what this means?

Also even if I download a random app it says "error while retrieving information from server [RPC:S-5:AEC-0]"


Any help and advice would be great. I have restarted my phone and used data connection and wifi connection but all happening.

Yep, Im having the exact same issue with both errors you've mentioned. Just started happening about 10-15 min or so.

Same here, there seems to be some sort of issue going on. I just checked the apps status page and all google services seem to be up and running. So, whatever it is, El Goog doesn't seem to be aware of it yet.

EDIT: I'm on VZW using a Galaxy Nexus FWIW

I have a Sprint Galaxy S4, I even tried uninstalling an app and re-installing it right after and no go! So you can lose apps that way 0_0

Same thing is happening to me on my nexus 4 and 10.

Oh dear.

Just tried to check for updates at the same time and it said no updates but then as I clicked ok it said checking for software updates. How strange...

I'm getting the issue on Nexus 7, Galaxy Nexus, and Note 2. I'm a dev and I also see much fewer downloads today than normal....

I am also having trouble. I had just updated Hulu+ and Moves. I was playing around with Hulu on my Chromecast and my GF wanted to try the Hulu app on CC as well and couldn't download. I'm on a Nexus 4 Stock and hers a HTC One X Stock, both on AT&T. Using TWC Cable and also 4G LTE (her htc) and HSDPA on my Nexus 4. Attempted uninstalling updates on google play store along with force stopping and clearing cache/data on download manager as well as google framework and still not able to download getting error messages.

I went through the same process, I even installed a different GApps version. I was running the Core GApps package from XDA , thought it might've been that so I installed official from CyanogenMod but the problem persisted. It's on the Google side of things for sure.

I did the same with clearing cake etc but instead of finding the thread I made it lol
