Google Play Music Dowload

[AC Question]

I downloaded several albums onto my Sony experia T phone from play store in June. Unfortunately in July my phone had to be wiped by o2 and I have a new phone now. Is there anyway I can get my music off playstore? I had thought it would be saved to my account, is this not the case?

Welcome to Android Central! Are these albums you purchased on Google Play Store? If so, they should be in your Google Music Library that is associated with that same account with which you purchased the albums. As long as you logged into the new phone with the same Google account, you should be able to access those albums in your Google Play Music app. Then you can tap the pin icon to Keep Music on Device.
