Google play music EQ replaced after Android upgrade ?

I used to be on Android 7.1 on my Moto g5 plus now I've recently upgraded to the Android Oreo upgrade and now the EQ that used to be in Google play music that had all the manual ajustments has been replaced with audio affects that doesn't allow you to manually adjust channels . Is it possible to go back to the old version of the EQ ?
