Google Play Music plays through the phone speakers , not the car.

I have a new razer phone 2 and my music only plays through the phone. My note 8 works fine. Any known reason for this??

I had this happen once to me on my Galaxy S8 where I would say the OK Google command and Google Assistant will go through the phone speakers, not the car speakers. All I did was unplug replug the phone and restart the car once. That seemed to solve the issue. I hope that works for you too. If it doesn't, let me know.

Open settings, connections, Bluetooth, see if phone AND media is toggled on.
