return period is now 90 minutes now, which should fix "some problems"
So you apparently missed the part where I indicated I don't agree with public posting of address, but do support a mandatory contact method.
Google created what mess? Some (not all, probably not you) developers having NO contact method? No website, no email, nada. Just take customers money and that's it. Tough. No recourse if an App doesn't work after the ridiculous 15 minute time limit expires on the Play Store return policy?
Google does police the Play Store in a limited fashion. Many people prefer that Google doesn't take a more active role in determining what content and functionality is allowed because they regard such policies as a slippery slope to blocking apps that some users actually want. Part of Android's appeal is its more open nature, and many of us are concerned that blocking apps from the Play Store could become a business decision rather than purely a consumer protection decision.Once again, I ask people why they haven't suggested that Google police the Play Store?
