Google Play Services Missing after Factory Reset on ASUS Transformer TF101

I did a factory reset on my ASUS Transformer TF101, which is running Android 3.2.1. This tablet is quite old - I bought it in early 2012. For that reason, the initially installed Google Play store is the old Market. If I try launch Market, it "upgrades" to Google Play, but it loads without Google Play Services, preventing me from downloading anything.

I've seen other threads advising to follow a link to get the add-on in a browser, but I get a message saying that the browser is not supported and I need to use the Google Play app to access Google Play. I also tried accessing Google Play from another computer, but it won't allow it because I have not accessed Play on the tablet. :p

Any ideas on how to get Google Play Services onto this tablet? Someone wants to buy it from me, but I can't sell it if the Play Store doesn't work. :(

Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to Android Central! How long have you waited for Play Services to update? It's supposed to be automatic, but sometimes it takes a few days.

You could check out Android Police, which often has links for Google Play Services apk files.
