Google play services

So Google has the newer version play services for our phones version 8.1 has anyone downloaded it yet?any thoughts etc?

I installed and phone seems a bit snappier. They just released a newer version ending in 230 which is the universal one. I always installed the play services ending in 430 for my Nexus 6 up until this point. Are we supposed to have the one ending in 0 or 8?

To be honest with you, I'm not sure. I just install the one they specifically recommended for the Nexus 6 with lollipop 5.1.1 on it. They said that if you install the wrong place Service bridge and on your phone, it would likely crash. I am still the recommended one and it seems smooth. Especially when transitioning from the Google keyboard to Google Voice typing.
