Just got email confirmation that my new Nexus 7 tablet has shipped. I think tomorrow would be wishful thinking, but should be Monday. Says 2 day shipping.

2 Day shipping doesn't count Saturday or Sunday (and Saturday Delivery is an additional service). It could still arrive Monday, but Tuesday would be the official guarantee date for a 2 Day package shipped on a Friday.

Ordered 6/27. I have a pre-charge that just showed up yesterday, but no official charge and no shipping notification. I'm figuring Wednesday is the earliest day for me.

I don't think that may necessarily be the case. UPS can be slow updating tracking information, I see this happen a lot. I've even had 2 day orders not show any tracking details until the day I received the package.

Also not getting an email may not necessarily be a bad sign either. If Google charged the card, it probably means your package shipped and Google is just behind sending out notifications. I don't think the email notifications are synced with when they are sending the package.

Check out these people that recently bought Galaxy Nexus phones from Google Play, they got their phones before the notification emails arrived.

Just noticed the Play store listing for the Nexus 7 is a Buy Now status not pre-order anymore.

Trying not too get too excited, as I am fairly certain it will probably be next week before it arrives. BUT, if it did ship on 7/12/12, then it could be here today! That would be an awesome surprise.

Mine says shipped/billed on 7/9. If that were the case it would be here by now. Here's really what's going on. The shipping labels are printed well before shipping and affixed to the packages. The moment that's done a tracking number is produced. It then sits around till it is shipped. The only reason they gave out the tracking numbers was to calm down the torrent of upset people over the blunder of this launch. The tracking numbers would have been have been updated automatically the moment they arrived at the first facility, which would have been early this morning. How do you think people were getting their tracking numbers as late as 11pm when UPS was obviously not shipping anything?

Ordered on 7/7 8 gb got my email from Google play saying my order has shipped at 1 am it doesn't make any sense why I got my email before people who ordered days before me that's not right

My 8gb was ordered on July 4th (no case ordered). Still have not received an email nor is there a shipping number showing on the order stie. Seems to be absolutely no rhyme or reason as to how this is being handled.

After the very professional presentation, this is very disappointing. I will NOT be ordering a Nexus phone from Google!

I got the shipping email this morning. The timing is unfortunate. I'm leaving town this evening so there's nobody to sign for the package next week.

It would have been nice to have a 7" tablet on the trip for email and web (and Google Now) but I'll muddle through with my iPod Touch as I've been doing for a few years now. However, this does raise the question whether I should cancel the pre-order and wait to buy a Nexus 7 (or Fire 2 or iPad 7) in a store a week or two before my next trip.
