I live 10 mins from Google headquarters. I think it highly unlikely that it would ship from Mtn. View (though I wish it would). After paying for 2 day shipping, UPS probably would not ship it in one day if it was nearby.
Anyone received a charge or e-mail confirmation close to noon or after so far? I ordered June 27 and I have yet to be charged or e-mailed.

I just checked UPS 2 Day Air delivery schedule. I got my shipping notice at 2am this morning. According to UPS, if it was delivered to them by 3PM today, they say it should be delivered by 10:30AM Tues!!! I hope that is right 
I ordered fro Play on 7-12 @ 6:36pm. Received UPS Tracking # on July 14 @ 1:40am. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perfect example of how Google botched this release. Ordered 7-6 and have received nothing from Google...not even a tracking number...BS

Origin scan 7/16 - scheduled delivery 7/17. I no math genius, but 7/16-7/17 is 2 days.
2 day shipping is in the time of the shippers hands. Processing time is and has always been separate.
You're complaining that Google sent you the tracking number before the package got to UPS? I'd bet that you'd complain if you found out that they had a tracking number on Wednesday, but didn't give it to you until Monday too.
The shipper wanted to get as many packaged up and shipped out the same day so that people would begin getting them delivered the same day, not scattered out over a longer period of time.
I would say it's pretty amazing delivery time considering you ordered it 11 days from now.
It is driving me crazy, how are people that ordered from the GP store after July 10 receiving their orders before those who ordered way before i.e. 7-6-2012 or 6-28-2012? I am never going to order a device like this from Google again.
I pre-ordered very late (July 12th), still no UPS shipping email.
I get that people pre-ordered a lot earlier, but realistically when is the latest they could ship the pre-orders? I mean if the device is out, I did technically pre-order... it shouldn't be too long right?

As to 2 day shipping ... ordered on 7/27 ready to ship on 7/11 .. sits around at Google someplace while their shipping dudes burn up a lil' choom until 7/16 while they ship product to Sams, Gamestop, and who knows who else ... WTFs up with that???

Pre-order fool me once, shame on you ... there will not be another.
