Google Play Store 3.9.16 Update

So the Play Store will automatically updates itself to 3.9.16, right? If so, how long will it be before it does so? (I have a Nexus 7 running Jelly Bean 4.1.2). I know there is an apk, but I'd rather have the absolutely official version.

That you did. Is it likely to arrive within a week? (By the way, I live in New Zealand, although I did receive the 4.1.2 update before many people in USA).

Yep. And honestly, I like the surprise. Like with the new jb update rolling, everyone on here is mashing their update button every 30 seconds, restarting their's device, clearing data out of apps. I sat my tablet down yesterday, my son and I went out, had breakfast, grocery shopped and came back to have a nice surprise message on my tablet telling me an update is ready.

I actually read somewhere that they will be adding a wishlist and something else for the play store soon. So another update may be coming, probably just before the release of the next nexus or the next android version.

I went ahead and just manually updated using the apk. Works a treat. No problems at all.

Any idea if manually updating using the apk. effects how/when/if you recieve updates in the future? Sorry guys bit new to all this. Just updated mine as well btw...

It wouldn't affect future updates.. but again, it will update on its own automatically, there's really no need to stress it
