Google play store keeps crashing on my nexus 4

I bought a Nexus 4. and lately I've been in countering some problems. Google Play Store keeps crashing. The first time did this I took out my Sim card and did factory reset on my phone. Then the play store worked fine. Now its crashed again what am I supposed to do?

Go into applications manager and go to the ALL tab. Scroll down and find the app called download manager. Make sure it's enabled

Try clearing the cache. That worked when my Google apps were crashing.

i did all this, several times actually. and the battery pull too.It would work at first then when i go to download or update it would just crah and not open up. please help and relpy!!!!!!!!

@Adam Durden: Helping a friend with her Nexus 4 on this issue and we were a few steps from restoring manufacturer defaults. Is there a reason that this would all of a sudden become disabled?
