I've never purchased or rented anything from Google play however I was about to buy a film but discovered it's only available to rent. Does anyone know why this is and how long you have to watch something once you've rented it?

The film is usually on rent when it has no license for commercial production. If its a film and you have to rent it, then you will have to watch it using an online connection. They track your viewing every time you watch the film and when the hours are over(say 2 hours for the film) then they will not allow you to watch any more.

Thank you, so if I watch the film as soon as I rent it from start to finish I won't be able to watch it again?
