Google Plus error message on Rezound

Has anyone experienced this: Google Plus app works OK but keeps giving an error mesage stating that it could not log on to my account. when I touch the message a window appears showing my Gmail address and asking for my password. I enter my Google password (which works on all the Google internet log on panels) but it returns that my password is incorrect or my account has been updated, try again.

After getting these messages every time my Google account synchs, I reset phone to factory settings but still same problem. I have uninstalled Google Plus and the messages have not appeared again. All my other Google accounts seem to be functioning without issue.

Any comments or advice?

I notice the same thing after all of the Google updates the other day. There's a thread somewhere on here about it, I don't remember where. I've been ok with signing out of Google+ and signing back in. I did this last night and so far today I haven't had a problem.

Ah, I came here for the exact same reason. I've had this for about 3 days now. Like you, it will not accept my password even though I know I am entering it in correctly.

I did not know it was Google+, though. How did you figure that out?

There is a Google developer "group" somewhere that registers these bugs. I'll see if I can find a post about this.

I went into settings>Accounts & synch>Google>entered and unchecked one account at a time and synched. The only time I did not get the message was when I unchecked Google Plus. I have since uninstalled Google Plus and have not gotten the message.

I am not an active Google Plus user but would like to have it just the same, but not if it keeps giving me these messages.

I had the same problem. The first few times, I just cleared the error message when it wouldn't accept my password. I finally went in and cleared cache and cleared data for Google+. I haven't had the error message since. Of course, YMMV...

Yeah I was getting the error message also and read somewhere to clear the browser cache. So i cleared everything in the browser settings I could and its been all day and no pop up gmail error with a non accepting password.
