Google Search App Hanging

When I open the Google search app after it has been closed, the first search takes a really long time to complete (if it ever does), and auto-complete doesn't populate. If I back out and start a new search, auto-complete works, and the search is instantaneous.

Anyone else experiencing this?

My guess is it's a temporary memory of cache issue. Just don't do what you've been doing - and you'll be fine.
