I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S5. I have primarily been an iPhone user up up until now. On my iPhone, when I would open the Google search app. (it's a blue square icon with a white "G"), I would type in a search request, then it would list the different links that were related. Once I selected a link, it would then, of course, open that webpage...and that webpage would open and display *in* the Google search app (no other app. would open).
When I do this on my SGS5, all of this is the same, but, when I select the link I want to open (let's say Kotaku.com), Chrome then opens and displays the page. Why is this? If I wanted to open Chrome to display the page, I would have opened Chrome to begin. And, if this is just "how it works", then is there even a point to having the Google search app.? Maybe just have Google Voice Search and Chrome? It's just odd to me that I would use Google to search for a link in one of their apps., then it opens a second app., Google Chrome, to display the webpage - what Google search can already do.
Please advise and thank you for your help!
