Google search "Unfortunetly has stopped"

OS 4.1.2. Google search "Unfortuanelty has stopped". Hasnt workd for a month. Uninstalling updates, allows it to work again but it updates after powering down , and on its own.
Otherwise the tablet apps function fine.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Have you tried clearing the cache in your settings?

Same here, will not even launch. I have given up trying, reverted back, uninstalled updates and turned off automatic updates in Play Store. This seems to be very common on Note 10.1 devices. Google+ seems to be problematic as well, I do not not use it myself, but it is posted as a problem on many sites.

Thanks. IN addition I noted my wife's 10.1 does no thave this issue. HAve to wonder what the diffrence is between machines. Both on same OS version.

There was an update to the OS for it to work. If you're running a custom OS without the last update Google search won't work...
