charged my phone in the evening, unplugged it and left it overnight. Checked the battery this morning, 7% gone, out of which google services ate 44% :O never had this issue on the n4

any ideas how to fix it?

I would check which Google services are using the battery, and stop the ones you don't need. I know Google Now is a big one, but also beneficial.

Are you saying that it lost 7% over the entire night and Google services accounted for 44% of that? 7% loss is not bad at all for a night....hell my GNex drops 5%/hour just sitting there.

I was unclear what he meant too

I think this is another case of not understanding the stats...

The phone lost 7%. 44% of that is what... 3%?

I am assuming you slept for 8 hours...

That means you lost a whopping .5% per hour. Certainly nothing to worry about.

Yah I wish my evo 4G had that kind of battery efficiency, I barely get 4 hours with it.

Easy fix,

Google Settings > Google location settings > Turn off Location reporting and location history. You can still use your GPS and everything els

You can turn off location services in your settings or download the Google Play 4.3.11 APK. This worked for me, also had insane battery drain from Google Services now it's down to 2%

You sure this fixes it? I have location services completely off but I can't use the GPS. If this is true I would definitely love to have it this way instead
