Google services failed?

I was updating my apps and then I just got this screen that keeps saying google services failed or google services stopped. It won't go away. So when I have google services on it's popping up every five seconds. It was freezing my phone too. So, I had to turn google services off just to type a text message. Like it was about every 5 seconds this was happening. I want to be able to use the google play store and such though so any idea how to fix this? Right now I have google services off and knock on wood it seems to be working.

There's a Google play services update being pushed these days. Most errors with them are temporary. Just reboot your phone and see if the problem persists.
