Google Services?! Please help!!!

What in the world is all of this? Google Services is killing my phone. How do I disable this or get it to stop waking my phone? I don't even use G talk but I can't find it in my app drawer to sign out or anything...please help

Google Play Services gives control of Android back to Google | Android Central

It is possible even if your not using Gtalk that it was updated in your device to the new Google Hangout. Just a thought, something to look for.
