Your the reason I'm holding out hope. I don't care if Verizon slows updates down. I'm just worried Google made some concessions to get it on Verizon like an encrypted bootloader. :-/It will be on Verizon.

I feel like I am the only one, but the 5.9 screen size to me is great. I can't wait for this to drop. Would like to get more specs about memory size and if it will have wireless charging. And of course price....

You're not the only one. Look at the popularity of the Note series. 5.7 to 5.9 inches isn't much bigger. I've had a Note 2 for 2 years, and I absolutely want something bigger. I'm super excited about the possibility of a Nexus big enough for me to buy. I just can't go back to a smaller screen.
And as for all the complaints about the size, just keep in mind the reaction to the first Note with a 5.3 inch screen. People laughed at such a giant device. Now it's just about becoming the standard flagship size.
Wireless charging is the last big thing I'm waiting to hear about. If it has it, I'm 90% sure this is my next phone.
Why are you looking to leave the note series? I am torn between the nexus 6 and note 4.

I hate Touchwiz, and I don't want to have to mess with rooting/installing ROMs on my (and my wife's) phone anymore. I'm also ticked off that the Note 4 isn't waterproof. I know the Nexus won't be, either, but it probably would have tipped me over to the Note. I also don't use the stylus, so I'm not losing that functionality. The (presumed) difference in price should make the Note look like a rip-off. I've also wanted a Nexus for a long time, but they've been too small.
Personally, I cannot wrap my head around the idea of having a phone with nearly as big of a screen as my Nexus 7.

Thanks.. Now I need to find a measuring tape, no clue the distance from my pinkie to my thumb.. I just know I am 6' 1" and 200 lbs.......Yeah I'm struggling with that too. Really hope that there's another, smaller, Nexus 6 device being created or an updated Nexus 5 or something.
I have pretty large hands (tip of thumb to tip of pinky is 10") and even I find the G3 and Note line of phones just a bit too uncomfortable to handle.

Absolutely agreed. This will take almost every female out of the market also since their hands are generally smaller. This phone would certainly be marketed towards a very specific group of people if it were the only size to be released. I cannot see Google being that stupid to omit 70% of the market. I really can't.
There HAS to be a smaller version or this just simply isn't the new Nexus and we're getting played like fools. The Note would be about as big as I'd like to go.

I see so many small petite woman with Galaxy Note 3 devices than I actually see large burly men with them (or it probably just stands out way more)... I remember the first time was around Halloween last year with my kids out doing the trick or treat thing.... The number of SMALL woman out with their kids taking pictures with their Note 3 devices was amusing at first... and over time it's become some what of a normal thing I see... At least here in Texas (Where of course everything is SUPPOSE to be bigger anyway)
