I think when the article said both devices will have expandable memory, it meant both the 16gb and 32gb LTE Nexus 9. It's bad, ambiguous wording either way.

Oh. I read it as the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 would have it. It does seem ambiguous.

Still though, even one of the devices having expandable storage is surprising to me. I thought Google weren't going to offer that on the Nexus devices.

The Forbes article mentions that the devices will be announced on the 15th, pre-orders will go live on the 17th and 'purchase' being from 3 November.

I think purchase means available at retail stores, but I'm not sure if they're referring to just specifically the Nexus 9 or if Forbes means the Nexus 6 as well.

There is another forbes article which says they're expecting an annoucement within the next 24 hours with hardware going on sale in the next few weeks. I can't link to it since I only have one post.

It says the Nexus 9 will go on sale on Nov 3. I think the N6 could go on sale straight away like other Nexii years.

I find carrier customer reps know as much as we do on release information. I mean that would be a nice surprise for it to be available for order/pre-order today but I have my doubts. Optimistically, they won't make it available for pre-order till a day or two after announcement (like the Nexus 5).

I had no idea about the impending announcement. I was about to order a Moto x like..right now but I think it will be worth to wait and see this thing. I'm thinking it's going to be way to big for me but I'll wait just in case it's too nice.

iPhones have no bloat so it's possible Google negotiated this too. branding or lack thereof will be interesting too. happyasian said the Shamu he saw said Verizon - but was that just onscreen carrier indicator and not physical branding? my guess is the former.
