Google Slide show through Chromecast to TV

We are trying to figure out a way to wirelessly present a Google Slides show to a TV in our church lobby - and have it continually cycle. My thought is to make a Google Slides show, save it on Google Drive, use Chromecast to access the file from the TV and display it that way. Is that possible? Any better ideas?

Your only option maybe to upload the slide show to YouTube and the stream to the Chromecast from there
