I like gtalk because I have to phones one for work and a personal one and I can't have my personal phone out at work so it cool that my friends can send me messages when I'm working but it gets boring some time when no one is on is there a place where I can meet new people I know it was like that on the black berry were you just put your pin up and people would message you

Where is Google Talk in the play store? My wife has the S3 and I wanted to put Google Talk on there so she can chat / video chat with me but I don't seem to see the app. Is it a country based restriction or something (I'm in Canada)

Ignore my last post, i'm an idiot, Google talk is already installed on the phone.

If you looking to socialize with people you don't know already, you probably won't find them within Google Talk. You could possibly look on Google+, though, or the social section of the forum.
