I've successfully done this many., many times, before and after "Reminders" became Tasks". As recently as last week.
However, today, when I request to delete all tasks, it tells me how many tasks I have, and asks which ones do I want to delete? Are you sure you want to delete them? I respond "I want all of them deleted".
After this, one of two things happen.
!. It tells me "All right, I cancelled all of them, but they are not cancelled. No matter how many times I repeat the request, it's just a repeat of the failure to remove them.
2. It tells me that it cannot delete tasks.
I would gladly switch to another voice activatd assistant if there was one available.
