Google Text-To-Speech now available for download, works with MAPS!

If you're tired of the horrible Samsung voice on maps (even the HD version is horrible) and the not so terrible but still bad Ivona voices and long for the days of Google voices in maps, well now your wishes have been answered. Google has extracted Text To Speech (TTS) from the Android OS and made it a separate download. Just download the official Google TTS here (link) and set it as your default TTS engine in settings.

Oh, I found it and downloaded it. Not great though. I fear hidden location links which is why I asked. I once clicked a link that downloaded a virus.
