Google timeline very inaccurate

For the past week or so my google timeline has been way off with its tracking. It used to record each stop I made during my day and record correct kms/times of arrival/departure. However now it stopped recording my stops and shows that I’ve been driving aimlessly around for 2.5hrs (when there were 4 stops during this time). It is also showing things like it takes 58mins to drive 4kms, or an hour to drive 1.5kms. Very weird. I’ve checked all my settings and nothing seems to be different from before when it was working. Using Samsung S20. Any thoughts on how to fix this pls?

Go to Settings>Location>Location Services. Are Google Location Accuracy and Google Location History turned on? Also make sure Wi-Fi Scanning is turned on.

Hi, yes these settings are all on….today it showed me being in the opposite direction of town than where I really was….what is happening?

As I mentioned in the other thread you posted in, if Google Maps is Battery Optimized, try changing it to Unrestricted.
