Google Updates..

I had a Charge, other than gps slowness I thought it was a good phone. Would not classify as POS. Battery life was decent after GB update.

The two I had were super laggy. But I sold mine, got the Razr and traded that for a Nexus. Glad to hear GB works better on the Charge. I couldn't wait though. Really loved the screen, but that was pretty much all I liked. Plus I thought they should have had GB by June at the latest.

Even then, a lot of people don't have the issue.

Is it a lot of people don't have this issue, or is it a lot of people don't realize they have this issue?

Or better yet, do people suffer from this issue, but just dismiss it as a problem within the application they are using?

Another question I have is if 99% of Galaxy Nexus users claim their device is problem free, how is an update going to fix a problem or problems that do not exist?

It's entirely possible that those with the problem are due to circumstances that don't affect every user. It could be in areas with lots of mountains, or other radio interference, or older technology in the cell tower, or even conflicting applications installed. It's entirely possible that the phones weren't made in the same factories and there were some factory induced issues.

Bugs and/or issues with a phone aren't necessarily one for all and all for one. Whether you may have considered it or not there may be a bug that doesn't hit everybody. It's possible that a tweak in software can fix the bog for those that do have it.
