Hello everyone,

Let me first say, just got the droid and love it. But now I'm trying to set up my google voice account. I first activated it online, worked fine. Then I downloaded the app off the market and it loaded my past voicemails and I can review them, but people calling me no longer can leave voicemails. When I don't answer it just goes to a busy signal and they can't leave. A voice mail. Any ideas??

Thanks so much

Did you set up proper forwarding? You will need to go on your Voice account online and specify what number to forward your calls to. Downloading the app doesn't necessarily mean your calls will go to the handset.

Look under "settings", then "phones".

Log in from your computer, and you have to uninstall and reinstall. I think you dial star 73
to uninstall and out will give you a number to reinstall. I had the same issue and that fixed it for me. You have to do this from a pc. Good luck.

Yep, on google it is set to the right phone. But when I go into google voice settings on my phone, Where it says "this phone's number" there the option for my number that is already online, and then there is an option for add this phone and when i try to do that it can not verify the phone, does that make any sense or help?/

thanks so much

You need to dial *71 plus your Google Voice # to forward calls properly on Verizon. This sets the busy/no-answer transfer option.
