I have my phone set up on Google Voice but calls are still going to Verizon voicemail instead of Google. Is Google Voice voicemail working for anyone else on the 6P?

mine is working great. sometimes you have to call the *71[Your Google Voice number] number.

I'm a little unclear about what your suggesting, are you saying that I have to call my Google Voice number to activate Google Voicemail on my Verizon number? I activated it for my Verizon number on the Google Voice web page but calls go through to Verizon Voice Mail instead of Google's. Verizon vocie mail gives you no indication that there are any voicemails unless you call in which makes it essentially useless.

I have verizon and even though I did all the steps on the Web, I still had to dial *71 and my Google voice number on my phone to setup forwarding. If you do this, it should start working for you.

I'm experiencing issues, too, as of 1 Dec (Nexus 6P stock on Verizon). On 30 Nov I got at least one VM to Google Voice, but it seems that since then callers are getting the message that my mailbox is not set up.

After a quick search, found an article on XDA that suggested going to google.com / voice > Settings > Under "Forward calls to," click the "Deactivate Google voicemail on this phone" link > Follow instructions (dial *71 and call) > Click that same link to activate > Follow instructions to activate (dial *71<Google Voice #> and call). Calls are now forwarded to Google Voice.

It seems to do the call forwarding to my wired line however the number of rings before it does that is extreme, I don't think anyone would wait that long. Is there a way to configure the number of rings before it gets forwarded to Google?
