That link is two and a half years old, its no longer relevant and doesnt exist.
It's cool if you want the Nexus S, but I can't imagine how this feature would in anyway be a deal breaker. If two phones were exactly the same and one had the NFC chip, then of course I'd go for that one, but no phone coming out in the next month that has NFC is going to be comparable to the Evo 3D.
Its going to be a FAR more useful feature in the coming months than 3D will ever be![]()
By the time this takes off I will be looking at getting the third gen Evo.
Well, it stands for near field communication. From what I understand, it's basically RFID that is limited to a short range. You can just tap things to exchange information (ie credit card info). I'm sure google will give you all of the info that you could want (and more!Okay so I get the basics of what it will do based on the convos, but can someone tell me exactly what NFC even is?
