Google Wallet is draining my battery. what can I do?

when I check my battery, the #1 battery drainer is always the screen, but as of this morning, its "google wallet" I don't even use it. is there a way I can stop this?

Have you tried quitting it?

is that the same as "force stop"? I had pressed that earlier, and nothings changed. sorry, I'm an android newbie

Quitting won't work, especially if the processes are background processes. If you don't use it at all, disable it. To uninstall it, search Google Wallet in the app store, then click 'uninstall'.
