Anyone know why Google Wallet is kept awake when the tablet isn't used? Went to the movies and than bed, woke up to see 12+ hours it has been kept awake. Any ideas and has anyone else seen this?

No one else is having Google Wallet eat up their battery?

Is this what you mean? As the one screenshot shows, Wallet is my second highest drainer. Considering I haven't even opened the app since I first downloaded it and set it up some time ago, it is a little surprising that it's taking so much battery.

I wish that was true for me. Something is wrong with the app as it came installed after the update

Oh, wow, Explicit. Yeah, your situation is much more intense than mine. Not sure what to say about that one except you could "Force stop" it and see.

I did and it starts itself up again. Might need to uninstall it since I have no use for the app anyways

Yeah, if you don't need it, you may as well disable it.

When you open it, is it working properly? I just noticed mine was stuck on "Initializing your device" because NFC wasn't turned on.

Maybe your problem is something similar? I don't know. Just throwing stuff out there. It must be happening for some reason...

Although do you even feel it's affecting your battery life? Have you rebooted the tablet at all?

If it wasn't for that app I would be getting even better battery life. I restarted it and will see if it helps any. I'm just curious if anyone else is seeing this happen to them.

Yeah I wasn't noticing any extraordinary battery drain but it was my 2nd highest consumer and I was fairly certain I had closed it. Maybe just reinstall it
