Google Wallet on Rooted 4.2?

I recently bought an ATT Galaxy S3 for Net10 and was kinda bummed that it doesn't support it. I was really looking forward to forgetting my wallet and paying with a tap, but I had a few questions first!
If the Google Wallet app has a update through the Play Store, is there any way that I would be able to download it through the PS or would I have to find another .apk?
I've also heard that the payment would not pass through if Google knows that it's an unsupported device! Is this at all true?
Also could anyone point me in a trusted direction of where to make the magic happen?

I'm also running Illusion 4.2 ROM if that matters at all! Thanks for the look, I really appreciate any response!

Thanks AndroidCentral!

I don't believe there is a download from the Play Store that will work on your device. There are some version of Wallet that can run on rooted devices. I think if you search on XDA you may find a version you can run.

If you run Google Wallet on a rooted device, it displays a warning that your device is unsupported, but it still works. At least it does on my rooted Sprint GS3. The warning is about security, not functionality, since a rooted device could theoretically grant access to your credit card info if hacked.
