Just wondering, since many Canadian places don't have support for GW would I be able to set up an account and use my phone across the border in the States? I go cross-border shopping bi-weekly and I'd like to be able to just use my phone instead of constantly exchanging cash.

If you are able to set it up then the answer is YES because it's tied to an actual credit card. Keep in mind that exchange rates will apply.

Seems like very few places have support for Google Wallet. Google Wallet is more of a gimmick then anything else.... at least for now and into the near future.

Anywhere that accepts PayPass accepts Google Wallet.

Download the pay pass app or check online. A lot more places take it than I thought.

Here in Miami, every CVS, Walgreens, 7-11, and McDonalds takes NFC payments. Other places do, but I don't get out much.

Whole Foods uses it in DC.
