I love Gorilla Glass! With it I never felt a need to use screen protectors. (Actually I never even bothered to get a case...)
Verizon rep said it did when I picked my Dinc 2 up.

it says the OG inc had gorilla. that cant be. i never heard that, and i went a while without screen cover and the screen got jacked up in my pocket.
Just because it has Gorilla glass doesn't mean it is indestructible or unscratchable.

FWIW, my Eris has Gorilla Glass and I never used a screen cover or case. Didn't treat it all that gingerly, but have never had any dings on the screen. Your mileage may vary...
I've been thinking about going naked for the first time on my dinc 2. Anyone have any horror stories by going naked? For the record I am pretty gentle with my phones.
I've never used any screen protectors and have never had any scratches.
Starting with the OG Droid, Incredible, Fascinate, Captivate, Droid X, and now the DINC2.
This includes keys/coins in the same pocket.
The biggest issue is lint in all of the orifices.

Thanks, think I'll try it without. I should hopefully be ok. Thats alot of android devices you've tried out. Dinc2 rank up there at the top

But but, in tests they hit the tv screen with a 50mph fastball... it must be pretty durable. Concrete however, wins that battle

After how many times I've drooped my d1/2 and fascinate in the same area from higher heights I'm pretty sure either not gorilla glass or I hit a sweet spot. Shoot I've dropped the fascinate from 8 feet landed on its corner on the concrete only cosmetic damage to the plastic strip on the side
