Got an update this afternoon on my Verizon LG G6

It looks like I got an update middle of last month but I'm still on the April 1 update. I wish LG/US Cellular would get with the program.

I haven't noticed anything of note with this Verizon update....except that it turned off my AOD so I had to turn it back on!

Don't know if it is just coincidence or if this update fixed something...I always have terrible reception when making voice calls on my G6. The other party always tells me I'm cutting out and need to repeat myself or I need to ask others to repeat themselves. After the update yesterday my calls were crystal clear for some reason???

I have that issue when i talk to my mom and some people, the keep saying i didn't hear you're cutting off.. But i hear them perfectly... :/

my Verizon LG G6 is getting an update now too . . seems bigger than just a security update though, hopefully /maybe 7.1.1 ?

Edit . . Nope, still 7.0 as we expected, July 1 security update as others have said. I'm not too concerned about updates as long as my phone is running good, but it's nice to get something once in a while so we know we haven't been forgotten

Doubtful....its probably the same update that V20 users received two weeks ago

At this point, I would be quite surprised if any G6 model got a flavor of 7.1... We're stuck on 7.0 until LG gets 8.0 out for the phone. And that will probably be late winter/spring of next year, and after the G7 launch.

8.0 is not a reason to upgrade. Not that you can't do it and may be good enough reason for some people. Sounds more like an excuse to get a shiny new toy.

Something I've noticed post-update is out of the fives times I've charged my G6, three times now fast charging isn't working and that I need to use the charger it came with. Thing is though, I only use the charger that came in the box and if I disconnect and plug it back in it charges like it should.
