Got my Edge - Quick Impressions...

The screen shot you posted is actually what you see once you click on battery usage. You're using the s6 edge??

I'm going to settings, system, then battery. I'm sure I'm an ***** but I don't see any battery usage to select anywhere!

Everyone seems to agree that the s6 is an amazing phone but unfortunately the battery is such a deal breaker because who wants to charge their phone 3 times a day.

And yes. It's an S6 edge on att

Ah that may be it. Just recently T-Mobile released an update and that may be one of the changes in the update. So the ATT and T-Mobile devices may have slight software differences.

Probably. I always wonder why a carrier would even waste the time to change something like this. Stupid

That's a little exaggeration. If you need more than 4 hours screen on time in a 16 hour day, you'll probably need to to it off once. 30 minutes on a charger will get you through if you're a heavy user.

Agreed, plus the quick charge capabilities are legit. I also like the small added feature where it tells you roughly how long until it will be to 100%.

Got my 128gb Pearl beauty today. I'm coming from an s5 and there are some noticeable improvements. The screen is just WOW! I haven't experienced any lag whatsoever but I'm used to my s5 that always seemed to stutter. Battery life has been fine for me as well. I play a lot of Game of War and the drain hasn't been much different than s5. No dead spots on the edges. The phone is Def hard to hold and typing feels very different. It is an adjustment.

Imo the camera alone makes the phone worth it. Photography is a hobby of mine and I own several high end camera's. For a phone the camera is amazing... I take tons of pics of my kids and I have been blown away.

I thought the same about the phone being a bit tough to get a hold off without feeling like you may drop it. I got a very sleek spigen case and it changed the game. Check the s6 edge case thread for images. At only $12, it's worth it.

Just to make a point on battery life, I do not think its a device issue. I think it is a lollipop issue. I have a Note 4 and once I updated to lollipop my battery life went down hill. Where Id go to bed with 70ish percent left now its 50ish and I need to charge it. I could easily get through two days on a single charge now I dont trust it to. My SOT has generally been less than 3 hours and the screen % on battery drain is no longer what is draining it the most. The issue definitely needs to be looked into though.

I agree it's most likely an OS problem. Same happened with my S5 when updating. A quick work around I use for now, at least for when I sleep... I throw airplane mode on but keep wifi on. I charged my battery to 100% last night before falling asleep and woke up 6+ hours later with 0 drain.
