Love the update, but can someone tell me the following : 1) can I brighten the left side of task bar without brightening entire screen? 2) Should I be on global? I downloaded on 3g but it won't let me on LTE. :)

I don't know what you mean by the first question. But no you don't need to be on global for use. Only if you leave the country

And if you do need global, you need to contact VZW to let them know or else you will charged a lot for what you use.

Not sure what you mean about left side of task bar. My task bar is consistently equal brightness. As far as it wont let you on LTE. Do you have LTE in your area?

I was told by the app software company who i have my battery notification from that ics is set so there setting for the time and all else is brighter that after market apps. He was able to brighten his color a little to help but still not the same.

Hi guys,
Yes I have 4g LTE in my area. Left side of task bar = widget notifications. Right side fine. Battery, time, and 3g

I know what gymgal means. I have bad ass battery monitor and the notification Icon for it is so dim I can barely make it out.

I got ya now. Some app notifications on the left side are just usually smaller and less bright because they need to be updated in market to work better with ICS. There is really nothing you can do but make the screen brighter but that will hurt battery life.

Yes, I complained in another thread that the ICS color scheme makes it more difficult to read the notification bar icons especially if they have numbers in them. I had hoped that there was a setting of some sort that could make them more legible. Turning brighness up to max helps a little but then everything else is too bright and I don't want to run the phone at max brightness anyway.

Hope that developers will update their aps to make them more legible in ICS.

My 4g LTE just came on. Now I need to d/l the toggle app.

Ahhh I get what you mean. I have badass battery also and noticed that its dim. But if I pull down my notification bar I can read it better
