got my X today

I just picked up my X today with an early upgrade. And I couldn't be happier with it. Best phone out IMO. any good apps for the X that I should get?!

Good to hear. So your initial impressions are very high. How are the buttons, that is the sticking point for me, they just seem cheap and poorly done. I am within the the return window on my Fascinate and was seriously considering the Droid X.

As for Apps, that is a good one, obviously Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds. I am just getting back into the Droid world from the iP4, which i have to say is just not worth the walled garden experience.

I prefer the real buttons over the touch buttons. I had the eris before i got the X and Its definitely different but you get used to it real fast. They could be more stiff though. Other then that I have no complaints. X>Fascinate imho

I recently switched from the fascinate and have no regrets. I am really enjoying a real google experience on the droid x. Given the work around on the fascinate is very easy. Its native on the X. The physical buttons are just fine. The sit in there well and I see no issues with them. They also stay lit a lot longer then the fascinate...

yeah, I downloaded most of the apps that I had on my eris (which wasn't many). But there seems to be more apps available for the X.

Welp, here it goes. Have been a lurker for some time and been on CB for years. Currently on a fascinate but heavily thinking about swapping to a X. Seems like they get really good reviews from users. I just can't use the Fascinates keyboard, there is something about it that drives me nuts. Maybe it's the fact that the space bar is on the side of the phone or something while typing but it bothers me.

I am sure i will return tonight or tomorrow with an X in hand. Wish me luck! lol

Im not a fan of galaxy S phones. I would definitely switch to the X . you won't be dissapointed at all. Let us know how you like it when you get your hands on it.

I have the DX now, and I was thinking about switching over the the fascinate... lol, just for the better screen and camera, but the thing is I have one more day left in my window of exchanging it...and I'm afraid of regretting doing it, since I have no real complaints with my DX at all... everything works fine. Anyone else switch from a fascinate to the DX? I want to know what made you make the switch.

I'd hardly call the Fascinate crappy(calling Major BS), the screen and camera blow away the dX, plus a better finished phone,more refined UI...etc... however I expect the dX to reign supreme in this forum no matter what, it can be expected.

I didn't say it was crappy I said crappier. And that's my opinion take it or leave it. Ill admit it has a camera and screen, But that's it. Its an Android that doesn't even have google search for gods sake. Lmao. Also I think it feels too plasticy and the UI is too plain and looks too much like the iphones (Not an Iphone fan) . But in the end its your decision. Noone else can make it for you.

Sounds to me like the problem is you just want whatever it is that you don't have. I recommend you decide to like what you've already got and stop looking at other things. Overall, life's more satisfying that way.
