I bought a Droid Incredible to use on page plus so I could save some money and I got ripped off I always keep the data off I even use Droid Wall to keep everything locked down on 3g just in case it accidentally got turned on. I also use Onavo to monitor any data usage (I sometimes turn data on to check texts from GV). I checked my minutes one day and there was one charge for $30 and one for $9 I was like wtf Onavo shows I only used 1mb since I bought the phone (I rooted and rommed with CM7 before even activating) so I figured this had to be a mistake. I called them and they are blaming it on my phone trying to pawn it off as my fault saying it was an update which is absurd because the data is off unless I was using it to check my texts and a custom rom doesn't auto-update it can't be any of my apps either I even use SetCPU to underclock the phone as low as it can go when not in use.
I am so mad at getting burned like this the company won't own up to what is obviously a mistake on their part.
