Lucky! I just got off the phone with verizon to confirm that I'm eligible for my annual upgrade on launch day. Less than 2 weeks to go...

It kind of looks scary big in your hand!!! But that is ok, I still plan on getting one!!! :)

It is, and I've got a big hand, I can palm a basketball with ease, but I will say it feels GREAT in the hand, even my friend who took the picture has no troubles using it and his hands are smaller!:)

I've currently got a Blackberry 8330 Curve.

To funny that is the same phone I have!!! I am a girl so hopefully it is not to big for me, if so I might just invest in a bluetooth!! ;) But I dont have tiny or large hands, pretty average for a girl!! LOL

Looks like nobody's going to ask, so I will. How'd you manage to get your hands on one?

I'm not going to risk getting a friend fired, so all the more I can say really is that a friend of a friend showed a demo version to me, its not connected to the network or even Wifi so all I could do is test the keyboard and the demo games on it, but it is an amazingly quick phone, anyone thats thinking about getting it, my only thing to say is: If you love big screens get it, if you prefer smaller screens go for the Incredible and if your just in between wait for the Droid 2, its got a medium sized screen and a better processor and such.

The only real advice I can give you is go into a store and ask to see a demo version of the Inc and the X for comparison, and a kind enough employee would say, "Well since the cats out of the bag, why the heck not" (This is not the case for me, I wish it was or I would have had time with the X about 2 weeks ago)

sadly, these are words I've never heard a girl say to me...

ROFLMAO :p

Mole, my nephew has the Inc so I have played with his may times. My SIL has the original Droid and also had some time with it. I am not really to worried about the size!!! I like the idea of having a mini "tablet" as Motorola is calling it. I do more data and texting then talking on my phone anyways!!! ;)

Being a fan of touch screens, large screens in particular, the X is better to my likes. The Droid 2 looks to be identical to its original which while I enjoyed it, wasnt a fan of the slide out keyboard and I never once used it.

The few things Im worried about the X are:

-Cant be used internationally
-Cant be used on LTE which is launching later in the year which will make this phone obsolete.
-Can or can it not be rooted? I read somewhere that the OS is making it rough to root.

Those are my main concerns with the device :(
