Got the call from Best Buy

Just Called BB they said Weds or Thursday they will start calling people... Lazy bastards!

I scheduled an appt at 9am, opening time earlier this week. I went by today to see if they decided to open early, and they said they weren't being allowed too. I asked if they could install my invisibleshield, he said yes (even though I purchased directly thru Zagg), and then I asked if they could install before Friday so that it would be on when I purchased it, he said they could not. He said they have not and will not receive their phones till Thursday night, because of the trucks and when they get them.

He also said they were doing a ticket system that morning (similar to BF). I don't think it matters whether I have an appt or not. I think I might wait till later in the day to avoid the rush, as they only have 2 computers to activate with. He also told me they do have some accessories, but they won't put out till Friday. He said they only had like 8 cases, screen protectors, and such. He said those will be first come first serve.

This is a store in Slidell, LA, about 30 miles NE of New Orleans.

Just got the call from my BB today. 4pm on Friday for me....unfortunately I have an 8am meeting at work or I would go before work...stupid work!

I'm still waiting, grrr...they have some slapnut who doesn't know a gang thing about the Evo, except that "it's going to be awesome", doing the calls!! WTF?! I've been in there more times the past few weeks than I ever have to that location, PERIOD. Everytime I ask the guy how they're going to do it or on the msrp on the phone I get a bunch of slapnut lip and no DEFINITE facts. Keep your fingers crossed for me and hopefully I'll get the call BEFORE the 4th!!!!!!!!!!

Got my call today. She asked what time in the morning I wanted an appt. I work all day and cant be there til 4pm. She said there will be a phone with my name on it when I come in.......it just better be an EVO.

I got my call yesterday. I have an appointment at 8:30 am Friday morning, she said that they were opening @ 8 am so I guess I'll B #2 2 get my new phone, I was #9 when I pre-ordered weeks ago. She didn't mention anything about accessories, or invisishield. I'll B @ BB N MI. Darn I can't wait......
