GPS app that lets me choose which GPS?

The in-built GPS on my phone seems to be a bit slow sometimes. I'd like to hook an external one via bluetooth.

Is there any app that lets me choose the inbuilt vs the external. Get a position from one. Get a position from the other.

Some apps use a GPS without giving me an option which. Would it be the internal one or the external one?
Is there any OS setting that lets me switch between them?

GPS Test by Chartcross Limited, is good, it shows satellites, for internal GPS and maybe when connected to a bluetooth GPS it shows it for that too

There is also usbgps4droid and bluegps4droid/"blue gps for android". I tried the latter but it didn't show satellites so I prefer the above.
