GPS icon always on....

For some reason this morning my GPS is staying on and showing the green activity arrows.

Its going non stop.......anyone know why?

Check to see what you've got running that might be using location awareness.

Bingo. We're not psychic. It could be anything. Start with what's running and kill off things one-by-one until you find the culprit.

Definitely sort it out. You can turn GPS off as a last resort but there's no reason that you shouldn't be able to leave it on without any issues (I do).

What's your home page on your browser? I had google for a while, and I use the ack key to get back to the homepage and then to the desktop. When I was backing out, I went to fast for google to acquire my location and it would get stuck searching. If I waited a second or two on the google homepage, it would find me, then stop searching.

Should "Use GPS Satellites" be checked or uncheked in options?

You can leave it checked.

Yeah check any apps that could be running in the background and use an app killer to stop them. Try restarting the phone.
