Hello, I'm new to Android (switched from iPhone) and new to Android Central! So far so good, but my GPS isn't too accurate unfortunately. The dot that represents me on Google Maps is always off by anywhere from 50 feet to a 1/2 mile. At best, when it does find me, it can't follow me. It finds me, and then I start moving, and the dot just stays there motionless as I move and continue to move. Then, 50 feet later, or more, when I stop, it might finally scoot over on the map to where I am.
Things I've done to try to correct the problem:
-- turn on Wi-Fi
-- turn on Location
-- turn on Location Reporting in Location Services
I've searched lots of responses to this problem that I've seen posted on the Internet, but nothing has helped fix the problem.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks in advance!
