GPS Question

The last phone I had with an Exynos chip was the Samsung Galaxy S II epic 4g touch on sprint and the GPS was terrible. It took 2 to 3 mins to lock and would often lose its lock very often.

Can anyone who currently has the s6 or s6 edge tell us about the GPS performance? Any use with waze or Google maps navigation would be great.

I've used it with Google Maps and it has been fast to lock on and has worked without any issues.

I never saw it lose the lock. My Nexus 5 used to go crazy while driving. For example, I'd be going North on the interstate and all of sudden, Google Maps would freak out because it would start showing me going South on the interstate. Then seconds later it would change again. Or I would come to a stop and Google Maps would show that I kept going straight. I haven't seen any of that on the S6 yet.
