Grainy Pictures

Has anyone been noticing the picture quality is slowly going downhill with this phone. Not sure if it is mine, but I have noticed that my pictures seem to be more grainy then when I first started using this phone's camera. I am doing all the same things as the operator too. Thanks

Still loving my camera, no issues here at all.

I have definitely noticed and posted but no solutions yet. Not discounting that's it's something I did but resetting to original specs didn't solve it.

I'm glad I'm not going crazy, my pictures suck too. They have been worse since the last update.

Mine are still just as good. Really dumb question, but are you sure the lense is clean on the back?

I've had several times where pics turn out blurry, but it's always been because my lens had my big old meaty fingerprints on it.

I agree, I've heard quite a few people say it was just a dirty lens.

Having the same problem with two different phones. Reviewing pictures taken on the cameras reveal that all the pictures taken before Oct 6 are great. After that they get progressively worse until now all pictures are unusable. I've checked and cleaned the lenses on both phones to no effect. The photos look like they were taken in low light conditions even though they are brightly lit. There are uniformly distributed grainy/fuzzy/low-light artifacts throughout the photos. Resetting the cameras to default does not fix anything.

It's still under warranty. I'd take it to a sprint store and ask them for a new phone. Obviously must be some kind of hardware problem. Or an, as of yet, undetermined software glitch. But unless they can makes the pictures normal, you should be able to exchange.

I am a picture taking fool with this camera, love it and I wow people every day with some of my pictures. They can't believe I took them with a phone.

I'm having the exact same problem. When I first got my S4 the pictures were crystal clear and now they are very grainy. I'm not sure why or how to fix it.
