Grainy Screen

Here's a screenshot from my settings menu. I can easily see the grain issue. It stayed the same when I changed the resolution and motion smoothness.

Yeah. This article is worthless. The people complaining about graininess are looking at the displays under a microscope or with a magnifying glass.

It reminds me of a Kindle in certain lighting with the look of paper. It's not all of the time or every app but I've noticed it too.

I took the picture with my Pixel 8 Pro. There was no flash used. The grain is clear enough that my wife who has horrible vision could easily see it.

For anyone with this issue, please do a screenshot then upload.

I think that would give us a more accurate view of the issue. Thankfully I haven't noticed this, but I'll know what to look out for.

I returned the original s24 to Samsung and made a new order. I picked up my new phone tonight at Best Buy and found that the graininess is close to unnoticeable. Exchange your phone if you're having this issue.
